An apparently peaceful protester at Grand Central Station in Manhattan yesterday was, without warning, arrested and dragged away by NYPD.
What crime did she commit? (It is not a crime to speak at Grand Central; and, if you’ve ever lived in New York as I have, you’ll know that both Grand Central and Penn Station are filled with far louder — and more disagreeable — homeless people shouting things at all hours of the day. This, on the other hand, was a coherent, peaceful, and non-offensive protest of the NDAA — which is arguably the single scariest piece of legislation signed into law since the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850.)
Has she been released from police custody yet?
Is she considered an enemy of the state, or “associated forces,” and therefore eligible for a one-way ticket down to the Guantanamo Beach Club?
I asked for her identity and whereabouts on Twitter. Shortly thereafter, @udipl tweeted: “I shot that video. I think someone said her name is Laura. I’ll ask around.”
Chilling. I can imagine, at some point in the not distant future, someone tweeting, “I think someone said his name was David. He wrote some blog posts about NDAA or something. I’ll ask around.”
At time of publication, I still have not been able to locate “Laura” — nor even verify if she has been released by the police yet. In NDAA America, they can keep you for as long as they want. Until “hostilities end,” which could be quite a while. Laura’s blue hair may be a light gray by the time we get to interview her.

So in my opinion they are going to release this virus and force people to take a vaccination for it. Along, if this is to spread, and do damage as they say it can then they can easily call for martial law and force people into FEMA camps saying there contagious or for there safety. Either way not a good sign for things to come and our government wants to keep it silenced. All I can say as I’ve posted before don’t take those vaccines they will kill you as well. Take vitamins and eat healthy to keep your immune system working top notch.

Police have torn down tents pitched by anti-capitalist protesters who had briefly set up camp in London’s Trafalgar Square.
Activists moved into the historic square on Wednesday in an offshoot protest of the Occupy movement whose supporters have been camping outside St Paul’s Cathedral in the capital for weeks.
They pitched about 25 tents during a march by thousands of students against cuts to university funding, but said their main aim was to express solidarity with a public sector strike against pension reforms on November 30.
However, policemen patrolling the student march soon moved in, hauling protesters out of the tents which officers then folded up.
“This is what democracy looks like,” screamed one protester with a trickle of blood running down his forehead, as police led him away in handcuffs.
Another protester, Glyn Jukes, said the demonstrators were allied to the Occupy London Stock Exchange (Occupy LSX) movement, whose supporters have been camping outside St Paul’s in London’s financial district since mid-October.
Occupy LSX said on its Twitter feed: “We are now occupying Trafalgar Square! *victory dance*” and called on supporters to move in with tents and supplies.
“We’ve chosen this very public place at the centre of London to serve as a beacon for the general strike on the 30th to help communicate with people,” Jukes said, referring to a planned major walkout over pension reforms.
They set up blue and green tents near the lion statues at the foot of Nelson’s Column, which honours British admiral Horatio Nelson, who defeated the French and Spanish navies at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
Jukes insisted the encampment was not aimed at provoking the police, who have been on high alert after student protests last year erupted into violence, and after major riots on the streets of the capital in August.
“This is not a provocation, it’s very symbolic. We are a peaceful organisation; what we seek to promote is a dialogue. I think it will give us a great opportunity,” he said.
